1982 PowerBoss was an innovation in the creation of the first "Total Sweeper Scrubber" (TSS) 1986 PowerBoss improved it's production process by implementing assembly lines for all products 1998 Minuteman International purchased PowerBoss. A complete line of industrial and commercial ride-on sweepers and scrubbers started being sold through PowerBoss. 2006 New management was assigned to PowerBoss. PowerBoss is now recognized as a member of the Hako Group. Rudi Gutmann was appointed as the President and CEO, and Ruediger Schroeder was appointed as the Vice President and COO. 2007 The PowerBoss brand was launched as a completely separate line from Minuteman and the Corporate color has changed to a darker gray and a new burgandy color .
